About

Formerly Mind in Chester and Chester Community Mental Health Support, our mental health charity has existed in a number of forms in Chester since 1964.

Our new focus is on being entirely service user run and led, we offer a warm welcoming safe place in our new drop in where anyone can come along, have a cup of tea or coffee and a chat and spend sometime with people who may have or be experiencing similar issues.

We have a number of activities and loads more planned, we’re not here to tell you what to do, come along and do what you want.

Were currently open every Monday from 10am till 8pm

10am – 12 Breakfast Club
12 – 3pm – Drop-in
3 – 6pm – Cookery Group
6 – 8pm – Support Group

We offer Peer Support to those aged 18+ who are experiencing any level of mental health problem or distress, anyone who feels lonely or isolated and those who want to give their Well-Being a boost.

We have no staff and we are run on an entirely voluntary basis.

Each Monday depending on our availability and resources we decide on a weekly basis what else to put on for our members during the rest of the week.

You’re welcome to come along anytime on a Monday for as long as you like.

There is no charge for anything and no referral needed.

If you’re interested in becoming a member it’s free, just pop just along on a Monday, drop us a line or give us a ring.

We now work wholly in partnership with the Rethink Chester Support Group

We are at Number 1, the Mount, Boughton, Chester, CH3 5UD
